| Description (Translated): | Las novelas del boom del Nordic noir sueco presentan fragmentos, frases y términos en otras lenguas que se alternan con la lengua principal. Esta alternancia refleja la realidad multilingüe de Suecia, donde el inglés tiene una gran presencia en el día a día, el alemán es un viejo conocido y varias lenguas minorizadas se emplean en algunas zonas del país. Las traducciones al castellano de estas novelas han preservado los fragmentos, frases y términos presentes en los originales. El objetivo principal reside, pues, en analizar estas alternancias a partir de la Sociolingüística y el enfoque descriptivo de los Estudios de Traducción. La presencia de estos fragmentos, frases y términos pueden generar extrañeza en el público lector meta, pero a la vez representan y transmiten el multilingüismo de la sociedad origen. Esta disyuntiva supone un problema de traducción cuya solución apunta a la no traducción como estrategia principal. This PhD thesis is framed within the field of Translation Studies, specifically in the area of Descriptive Studies applied to literary translation. Within this theoretical framework, the object of study is the multilingualism present in translated literary texts, specifically the code-switching present in the Spanish translations of representative novels that belong to the international boom of Swedish Nordic noir. The main objective of this research work consists, therefore, in describing and analyzing from an inductive and descriptive approach the transfer of code-switching from the Swedish originals to their respective translations into Spanish. In order to make this possible, a two-phase model of analysis has been developed which, on the one hand, studies code-switching as a fictionalized sociolinguistic phenomenon and, on the other, describes the possible (non)translation strategies and techniques used to transfer the multilingualism of the source text to the target text.
