Aquesta tesi analitza el grau de naturalitat del doblatge de comèdies de situació a la televisió pública valenciana (RTVV) a través de l’estudi d’un fenomen característic de la conversa col·loquial: la intensificació. S’aplica una metodologia mixta per descriure el sistema televisiu valencià i per analitzar un corpus format per sitcoms americanes doblades al valencià, una sitcom produïda originalment en valencià i una selecció de converses espontànies del COCC. Per a aquesta anàlisi s’ha elaborat un sistema de codificació que inclou els elements audiovisuals. Els resultats mostren una major freqüència d’aparició de segments intensificats en els dos subcorpus audiovisuals i una majoria de trets intensificadors al doblatge que s’allunyen de l’ús natural d’aquest fenomen. De l’anàlisi destaca, a més, l’estreta relació entre intensificació i humor. La tesi proposa una reflexió sobre les possibles causes que subjauen a l’ús de trets no naturals en la intensificació de la llengua del doblatge. |

This thesis analyses the degree of naturalness in the dubbed version of sitcoms broadcast by the Valencian Public Television by studying a characteristic phenomenon of natural conversation: intensification. A mixed methodology is applied to describe the Valencian television system and to analyse a corpus formed by American sitcoms dubbed into Catalan, a sitcom produced in Catalan, and a selection of spontaneous conversations from the COCC. To do this analysis, a specific coding system is presented, which includes audiovisual elements. Results show a higher frequency of intensified segments in both audiovisual subcorpora, and a majority of unnatural uses in the intensifiers of the dubbed version. A close relationship between intensification and humour has been observed. The thesis concludes with the discussion of possible causes underlying the use of unnatural features in the intensification of dubbese. |
