In recent years, we have seen an exciting trend in assessing economic growth in 20th -century Sub–Saharan Africa. Numerous studies have been published, but only for British and French colonies; this study is dedicated to estimating economic growth and GDP per capita values for the Portuguese colonies in Africa, Angola and Mozambique. This dissertation aims to provide an initial try on deriving GDP per capita numbers in those former Portuguese colonies through an innovative approach inspired by merited researchers. |
