Durante o ano de estágio pedagógico foi elaborada a seguinte dissertação, que descreve o trabalho desenvolvido no ano letivo 2021/2022, dividindo-se em duas partes. A Parte I apre-senta o relatório de estágio desenvolvido no âmbito da prática de ensino supervisionada e a Parte II é dedicada à investigação desenvolvida com alguns alunos da turma de 10.º ano. No relatório de estágio consta reflexões de algumas aulas, a apresentação de atividades extracurriculares e ainda uma reflexão sobre o estágio pedagógico. No trabalho de investigação pretendeu-se analisar quais as capacidades espaciais que possuem os alunos de 10.º ano e como é que as mesmas influenciam a resolução de problemas de Geometria no Espaço. Para dar resposta a esta temática procuramos responder às seguintes questões de investigação: 1. Que capacidades espaciais possuem os alunos ao iniciar o estudo de Geometria no Espaço no 10.º ano? 2. Que capacidades espaciais usam os alunos para justificar as opções tomadas nas suas resoluções? 3. De que modo a utilização de imagens variadas, como ilustrações 2D ou maquetes de objetos 3D, influencia a capacidade de visualização espacial dos alunos? 4. Como é que as capacidades espaciais dos alunos afetam a sua resolução de problemas de Geometria no Espaço? O estudo segue uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa com cinco estudos de caso. Utilizou-se técnicas de recolha de dados como a observação, recolha documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas. As conclusões deste estudo expõem a importância das capacidades espaciais, no entanto, também inferem que estas capacidades são necessárias, mas não suficientes para a resolução de problemas de Geometria no Espaço. Inferem também que alunos que apresentam capacidades espaciais de relação, tem uma maior facilidade em visualizar espacialmente os objetos dos problemas. Contudo, usam capacidades espaciais de construção para justificar as suas escolhas. |

During the pedagogical internship year, the following dissertation was written, describing the work developed in the school year 2021/2022, divided into two parts. Part I presents the internship report developed within the supervised teaching practice and Part II is dedicated to the research developed with some students from the 10th grade class. The internship report includes reflections on some classes, the presentation of extracur-ricular activities and a reflection on the pedagogical internship. In the research work we in-tended to analyze which spatial abilities 10th grade students have and how they influence the resolution of Geometry in Space problems. To answer this question, we tried to answer the following research questions 1. What spatial abilities do students have when they start studying Geometry in Space in the 10th grade? 2. What spatial abilities do students use to justify the options taken in their resolu-tions? 3. How does the use of varied images, such as 2D illustrations or mock-ups of 3D objects, influence students' spatial visualization skills? 4. How do students' spatial abilities affect their solving of Geometry in Space prob-lems? The study follows a qualitative research methodology with five case studies. We used data collection techniques such as observation, document collection, and semi-structured in-terviews. The findings of this study expose the importance of spatial skills; however, they also infer that these skills are necessary but not sufficient for solving Geometry in Space problems. They also infer those students who have spatial relation skills have an easier time visualizing the objects in the problems spatially. However, they use spatial construction skills to justify their choices. |
