| الوصف: | With an English abstract. This paper analyses the process of the insertio n and labor evolution of one particular group in Chile, the Jewish collectivity of Valparaíso-Viña del Mar, considering its cultural and so-cial capital and noting its strategies to adapt to the possibilities provided by the receiving society in light of public policies and the gen-eral frame of mind. It concludes that there is a positive convergence between significant cultural and social capital and an appropriate receptive environment in the host society. |
