| الوصف: | El 1939, la major part dels membres més representatius de l’esquerra política castellonina durant la dècada dels anys trenta i la Segona República prengueren la via de l’exili; d’altres foren empresonats i condemnats; i àdhuc cinc castellonins foren executats. L’objectiu d’aquest article és, en primer lloc, aportar noves i recents informacions per recuperar de l’oblit algunes de les figures polítiques més representatives de l’esquerra castellonina d’aquest període. I, en segon lloc, la recuperació d’aquestes històries personals permet posar de manifest la importància i la transcendència que arribà a tenir la frontera i l’exili en els castellonins que marxaren i moriren lluny de casa i de les seves famílies. In 1939, most of the representative members of the political left from Castelló d'Empúries during the 1930s and the Second Republic chose exile, others were imprisoned or condemned, five even were executed. The purpose of the present article is, in the first place, to provide new and recent information in order to retrieve from oblivion some of the political figures most representative of the left in Castelló during this period. And, in a second place, the recuperation of these personal histories allows to show the importance and transcendence of border and exile for those inhabitants of Castelló who left and died far from their home and their families. |
