Claim: What is claimed is
Claim: 1. A rope-dyeing dye composition comprising
Claim: a) at least one yellow benzoquinone dye represented by formula (I): ##STR53## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.1 ', R.sub.2 ' and R.sub.3 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxyl or alkoxyalkyl; and further comprising one or both of
Claim: b) at least one red .DELTA..sup.2,3 '-biindolin-3,2'-dione dye represented by formula (II): ##STR54## wherein R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.4 ', R.sub.5 , and R.sub.6 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; and
Claim: c) at least one blue indigoid dye represented by formula (III): ##STR55## wherein R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.7 ', R.sub.8 ' and R.sub.9 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
Claim: 2. A rope-dyeing dye composition of claim 1 comprising at least one red .DELTA..sup.2,3 -biindolin-3,2'-dione dye represented by formula (II).
Claim: 3. A rope-dyeing dye composition of claim 1 comprising at least one blue indigoid dye represented by formula (III).
Claim: 4. A rope-dyeing dye composition of claim 1 comprising both a red .DELTA..sup.2,3 -biindolin-3,2'-dione dye represented by formula (II) and a blue indigoid dye represented by formula (III).
Claim: 5. A rope-dyeing dye composition of claim 1, wherein in Formula (I) one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 and one of R.sub.1 ', R.sub.2 ' and R.sub.3 ' both are a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom or a bromine atom and the remainder are hydrogen atoms.
Claim: 6. A rope-dyeing dye composition of claim 1, wherein in Formula (II) two of R.sub.4, R.sub.5, and R.sub.6 and two of R.sub.4 ', R.sub.5 ' and R.sub.6 ' each are hydrogen atoms, chlorine atoms or bromine atoms and the remainder are hydrogen atoms.
Claim: 7. A cotton rope dyeing bath comprising a dye composition of claim 1, an amount of alkali effective to solubilize the dyes therein and an amount of reducing agent effective to maintain the dyes therein in their reduced state.
Claim: 8. A cotton rope dyeing bath of claim 7 comprising a dye of Formula (II).
Claim: 9. A rope-dyeing process comprising the consecutive steps of
Claim: a) immersing cotton warp yarns in a rope-dyeing manner, in a dye bath containing at least one blue indigoid dye represented by formula (III): ##STR56## wherein R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.7 ', R.sub.8 ' and R.sub.9 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, squeezing the thus-immersed cotton warp yarns, and oxidizing the thus squeezed cotton warp yarns with air;
Claim: b) repeating the immersing, squeezing and oxidizing steps of a) to thereby dye the cotton warp yarns;
Claim: c) immersing the resultant dyed cotton warp yarns in a dye bath containing a rope-dyeing dye composition comprising at least one yellow benzoquinone dye represented by formula (I): ##STR57## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.1 ', R.sub.2 ' and R.sub.3 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxyl or alkoxyalkyl; squeezing the thus-immersed cotton warp yarns, and oxidizing the thus-squeezed cotton warp yarns with air, and then repeating the immersing, squeezing and oxidizing steps of c) to thereby dye the cotton warp yarns.
Claim: 10. A rope-dyeing process comprising immersing cotton warp yarns in a rope-dyeing manner, in a dye bath containing a rope-dyeing dye comprising at least one yellow benzoquinone dye represented by formula (I): ##STR58## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.1 ', R.sub.2 ' and R.sub.3 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxyl or alkoxyalkyl; squeezing the thus-immersed cotton warp yarns, and oxidizing the thus-squeezed cotton warp yarns with air, and then repeating the immersing, squeezing and oxidizing steps to thereby dye the cotton warp yarns.
Claim: 11. The rope-dyeing process of claim 10 wherein the dyebath further comprises at least one red .DELTA..sup.2,3' -biindolin-3,2'-dione dye represented by formula (II): ##STR59## wherein R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.4 ', R.sub.5 ' and R.sub.6 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
Claim: 12. The rope-dyeing process of claim 10 wherein the dyebath further comprises at least one blue indigoid dye represented by formula (III): ##STR60## wherein R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.7 ', R.sub.8 ' and R.sub.9 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
Claim: 13. The rope-dyeing process of claim 12 wherein the dyebath further comprises at least one red .DELTA..sup.2,3' -biindolin-3,2'-dione dye represented by formula (II): ##STR61## wherein R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.4 ', R.sub.5 , and R.sub.6 ' each commonly or independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
Claim: 14. Denim cotton warp yarns dyed in accordance with the dyeing process of claim 9.
Claim: 15. Denim cotton warp yarns dyed in accordance with the dyeing process of claim 10.
Claim: 16. Denim cotton warp yarns dyed in accordance with the dyeing process of claim 11.
Claim: 17. Denim cotton warp yarns dyed in accordance with the dyeing process of claim 12.
Claim: 18. Denim cotton warp yarns dyed in accordance with the dyeing process of claim 13.
