| الوصف: | The object of this study was to find out whether the mother-stranger différenciation by the young infant was a phenomenon stable over a short period of time. For that purpose, twenty-four three-months old babies were observed on 4 consecutive days. The mother and the stranger each talked to the subject during two minutes. Six variables were selected as indicators of différenciation. The results showed that the number of individually stable infants was significant in some variables : more smiles and vocalizations, shorter latence time for the first vocalization and shorter fixation time in response to the mother's presence. An important methodological point : taking into consideration only the first 30 seconds of the interaction time entails a sensible loss of information. Afin de déterminer si la différenciation entre mère et étranger chez le jeune enfant constitue un phénomène individuellement stable à court terme, vingt-quatre bébés de trois mois ont été soumis à quatre séances d'observation espacées de 24 heures. La mère et la personne étrangère s'adressaient chacune au bébé pendant deux minutes. Six variables ont été choisies comme indicateurs de différenciation. Les résultats révèlent que le nombre d'enfants individuellement stables dans leur différenciation est significatif dans plusieurs variables : sourires et vocalisations plus nombreuses, latence plus brève de la première vocalisation, temps de fixation plus court, en présence de la mère. Remarque méthodologique : considérer seulement les trente premières secondes de la durée d'interaction entraîne une perte sensible d'information. |
