| مستخلص: | La frontera es fuente de conflictos, sobre todo cuando tiene un carácter triple debido al choque entre enemigos geopolíticos imperiales, entre miembros del mismo imperio sobre cómo integrar a nivel político y religioso y el choque entre un imperio europeo y sociedades completamente distintas, como eran las cazadora-recolectoras. En medio de estos conflictos estaban las órdenes religiosas, destacando los dominicos, quienes querían llevar a cabo la evangelización de un continente. Estos ingredientes si se juntan dan lugar a una gran cantidad de conflictos que hacen más visibles los entresijos, la estructura y el modus operandi de en este caso la Guatemala del siglo XVII The border is a source of conflicts, especially when it has a triple nature because of the clash between geopolitic imperial enemies, members of the same empire arguing how to integrate politically and religiously and the clase between an European empire and completely different societies, like hunter-gatherer societies. In the middle of these conflicts were religious orders, highlighting dominics, who wanted to accomplish the evangelization of a continent. If these ingredients appear together, cause several conflicts that makes more visible the hidden details, structure and modus operandi of, in this case, Guatemala in the seventeenth century.
