الوصف: | 107 This study aims to explore the relationship between career decision and career self-efficacy of pre-service teachers in Taiwan. The content included current situation of the career decision and career self-efficacy, differences in career decision and career self-efficacy between pre-service teachers with different background variables. This study also explained relevant situations of career decision and career self-efficacy. Inspected the predictive effect of career decision and career self-efficacy by multiple regression. The study adopted questionnaire, based on 516 pre-service teachers from six colleges in Tainan City, Kaohsiung City and Pingtung County. And the total samples of 516 are valid. The data were analyzed by item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation and multiple regression. The findings of this study were as follows: 1.The career decision of pre-service teachers is positive. According to the scores in the scales, “external resistance” is the highest. 2.The career self-efficacy of pre-service teachers is positive. According to the scores in the scales, “self-evaluation” is the highest. 3.The career self-efficacy of the male pre-service teachers are better than the female pre-service teachers. 4.The career decision and career self-efficacy of the graduate students being pre-service teachers are better than the other grades pre-service teachers. 5.The career decision and career self-efficacy of per-service teachers obtaining admission from center for teacher education after entering school will be qualified the qualification of pre-service teachers are better. 6.The career decision and career self-efficacy of pre-service teachers hoping to be a teacher in the future are better. 7.The career decision and career self-efficacy of pre-service teachers with the relation of teaching experiences are better than the pre-service teachers with irrelevant of teaching experiences. 8.Pre-service teachers having been more than three types of experience with related services have a clearer and better level of career self-efficacy and career decision on “lack of self-recognition ", “the determination level of career decision " and “external obstacle”. 9.The more clear career decision pre-service teachers have, the better career self-efficacy they have. 10.The career decision of pre-service teachers can validly predict their career self-efficacy. All in all, the findings of the study can offer some suggestions as well as references. |
