| الوصف: | 107 Should middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers be happy？ This study aims to examine and analyze the psychological state and happiness of middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers. This study adopts quality-of-life scale, participant observation and aura and chakra biofeedback instrument detection of an intelligent aura-color bracelet. This study focused on 40 middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers from Taipei City for more than 5 years of volunteer service as its research objects. The results are as follows: 1. Volunteers are not necessarily happy. The findings showed that sometimes middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers would feel unhappy caued by physical illness, and it might reduce their enthusiasm for volunteer work. For example, an interview expressed that when her old illness reccured and made her uncomfortable, she often felt unhappy and it has even affected her willingness to continue volunteer work. However, the subject Is still in volunteer work now. 2. Some middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers may be happy while they are doing a volunteer work. But when leave the job and returned home, they are unhappy. The findings revealed that some volunteers failed to get out of the pain they have suffered at home, so after returning home, they felt unhappy. The outcome of the questionnaire survey are very different from that of the aura instrument detection. The purpose of the aura instrument detection is to show the true inner state of the individual through the aura and chakra data established by the biofeedback parameter of aura-color bracelet and the energy graph. The questionnaire can be checked by the subject with free will. The difference in comparison between the outcomes of the subject's instrument detection and questionnaire survey tells us that the subject may be reluctant to reveal his/her true inner thoughts. 3. Middle-aged and elderly-aged volunteers may carry their unhappy emotions and habits to the place volunteers service from their home. The results showed that some middle-aged and elderly-aged persons are to be a volunteer while they wanted to be. Based on the above conclusion, this study provides a useful reference for practical work and future research. |
