الوصف: | 106 This study aimed to explore whether the cooperative learning method has a significant impact on the achievement of mathematics learning and the attitude of mathematics learning for seventh-grade students; moreover, whether there were different influences on students with different genders, different mathematical achievements, and different mathematical preference. This study adopted a quasi-experimental design, involved 27 seventh-grade sestudents from a junior high school in Kaohsiung City and conducted 10 weeks divided into two periods for this experiment. The former period used traditional lecture teaching and the latter used cooperative learning method for comparison. The results of cooperative learning in mathematics course on seventh-grade students showed statistical significant differences both in learning attitudes for all students, and in learning achievement for low-score group. The results were as follow: 1. The learning achievement is not significantly improved; but the learning attitudes are of significant difference. 2. The learning achievement is not significantly improved for different genders; but the learning attitudes are of significant difference. 3. The learning achievement is not significantly improved for high-score group and middle-score group, but is significantly improved for low-score group. And the learning attitudes are of significance for the three groups. 4. The learning achievement is not significantly improved for the high-preference and the no-preference groups in math, but is significantly improved for the middle-preference group. And the learning attitudes are significant for the three groups. |
