Ocean Sports is a huge industry among modern coastal and lake side countries. Sailboat and yacht related business play a big role in this industry, leading the whole chain’s consumption. The consumers always need to receive proper services, management, and safe facility for their boats. The yacht club is therefore acting an important platform of promoting yachting, sailing sport and its related industry. So far, the yachting business in Taiwan is still not maturely developed yet. Taiwan needs to learn from the neighboring countries’ yacht clubs which had very mature management strategy for the yachting industry. Thus the purpose of this study was to analyze the well-operated Asian yacht clubs for the management models and problems they were facing. Through the results of the study, the researcher expected to find proper management models for the yacht clubs in Taiwan. The research method was qualitative. The researcher analysis and collected data by literature review, Semi-structured interviews and case study. The case study samples were selected from the well-operated yacht clubs which were the Yokohama Yacht Club, Japan; Sanya Serenity Marina, China; Longcheer Yacht Club in Shenzhen, China; and Hong Kong Hebe Haven Yacht Club. The researcher found that there were 4 different yacht club management models—the marina homes for real estate purpose, marina hotels, independent management, and public peering. In addition, the researcher also made suggestions for Taiwan marinas located at the Wu-shy Harbor, Bi-sha Harbor, A-ping Harbor, Xing-DA harbor, Lagoon in DA-Peng Bay with proper yacht club management models..
