| الوصف: | 98 The purpose of this study is to discuss the effect of introducing factory automation on management performance. Moreover, this paper also evaluates the extent of automation that influences the efficiency on the management of factory, production, quality control and cost. The manufacturing factories, which intent to invest, or have invested automation, are encouraged to refer to the study result. It enables to enhance the effectiveness of activities on automation plans and controls. In addition, it can also be as a referable policy for production automation equipment suppliers. First of all, the paper studies the definition of automation and the motive of automation introduction. Furthermore, it also analyzes the findings on existed documents and uses them as studying foundation for this paper. However, there are only few study papers in recent years. Lack of information increases the difficulty on study. In this dissertation, it uses multiple regression model to evaluate the efficiency on factory management, production management, quality control management and cost management, in order to discuss the relation on automation. The regression results in this study are: 1. The extent of factory automation introduction leads positive connection on factory management efficiency. 2. The extent of factory automation introduction leads positive connection on production management efficiency. 3. The extent of factory automation introduction leads positive connection on quality control management efficiency. 4. The extent of factory automation introduction leads positive connection on cost management efficiency. In conclusion, the study result demonstrates positive supports on hypotheses. As a result, higher extent of automation equipment integration occur higher level of effectiveness on management performance.
