BackgroundReduced estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and elevated urinary albumin‐to‐creatinine ratio (ACR) individually increase risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). We hypothesized that these associations are stronger among people with abnormal (both low and high) hemoglobin levels.
