| الوصف: | OBJECTIVE: The etiology and frequency of headache complaint were examined in patients diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. METHODS: 60 patients diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease in policlinic and a healthy control group of 100 people of similar age and sex were included in the study. RESULTS: Headache was found in 26 of the patients (43,3%) with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. There was not a significant difference between the ages of patients with and without headache (p=0,1). The duration of the disease was significantly longer in the patients without headache when compared to those with headache (p=0,02). CONCLUSION: The frequency of headache in patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease is not higher than the healthy population |
