| الوصف: | The research touches on one of the most important economic indicators, which is the agricultural trade balance index and its relationship to economic growth in Iraq. Although Iraq has the potential to promote the agricultural sector to be the main economic sector, the reality in Iraq does not reflect this. The agricultural sector has deteriorated significantly in recent decades, reflected in the state of the trade balance, which remained in deficit throughout the period (2000-2020), despite the fact that the total trade balance was in surplus throughout the aforementioned period due to reliance on the export of only one raw material, crude oil. The study found that the trade balance suffers from chronic imbalances that have weakened its impact on economic growth in Iraq. |
