الوصف: This paper deals with the FEA study of permanent magnet synchronous and two-ply rotor induction motor 3150 kW, 500 rpm and analysis of line-starting behavior, calculation of its parameters and performances are represented. The synchronous PM motor can reach the speed of rotation close to synchronous one if the asynchronous electromagnetic torque will be greater than the braking electromagnetic torque. Success of the synchronous PM motor starting stage depends only on rotor operation factors.
