الوصف: Structural frames are load-bearing systems in structural engineering. In order to resist gravity and lateral loads, the analysis and design of structures, particularly tall structures, necessitates the use of appropriate analysis methods, precise design concepts, and preliminary designs aided by optimization, ensuring that the structure remains safe throughout its life span. Stiffness is highly crucial in controlling global displacements in extremely tall constructions. Tube in tube structures are the innovative and fresh concept in the tubular structures. Generally tube in tube structures are formed by connecting peripheral frame tube and inner core tube so closely, it is not seen as a solid system but it acts like a solid surface. The total loads acting on the structures to be collectively shared between the inner and outer tubes. In this analytical work, a comparative study of tube in tube structures and conventional moment resisting frame system has been made. The effect of diagonal bracing on the behavior of structures also been studied.
