| الوصف: | The article examines the cultural component in French studies in universities of the former Czechoslovakia in the 20th and 21st centuries. It analyzes specialized study programs in French language provided by the French departments, namely the program called “French language and literature” focusing on the training of future teachers of the French and the program “French language and culture” focusing on the training of the future translators and interpreters. The article also investigates the presence of cultural aspects in courses in “specialized French”, offered since the 1980s to students of law, medicine and natural sciences. The survey takes into account two distinct historical periods, separated by the year 1989, and concludes that, before 1989, the education of the elitist or high culture conveyed by classical literature was privileged to the detriment of the daily culture, reduced to courses on French civilization. Traditional methods inspired by positivism remained present in education for a long time, but, after the year 1989, a progressive passage towards the broadening of the meaning of culture and of the adoption of modern, intercultural approaches can be observed. ; L’article étudie la composante culturelle dans l’enseignement universitaire du français en Tchécoslovaquie aux XXe et XXIe siècles. Il analyse des programmes spécialisés en FLE (« langue et littérature françaises », spécialisation « formation de formateurs » et « langue et culture françaises », spécialisation « traduction et interprétariat »), assurés par les départements de français.
