| الوصف: | The article is devoted to the consideration of the issue of understanding regional identity as a complex socio-psychological and sociocultural phenomenon. The main points of view on the problem of regional identity in social geography, economics, sociology and psychology are considered. In a broad sense, regional identity is understood as the specific originality of a geographic territory in the aggregate of economic, cultural, demographic and macrosocial characteristics. As a subjective characteristic, regional identity can be understood as a person’s idea of oneself, as a carrier of psychological traits and cultural meanings typical for a given region, conditioned by the natural-geographical and socio-economic characteristics of the region. It is shown that the formation of regional identity is influenced by various factors, such as the length of stay, personal life experience in a particular region, family, friendships and work relations, as well as a person's ownership of real estate in this territory and the level of unwillingness to leave the region. The necessity of differentiating the concepts of “region's identity†as a characteristic of a territory and “regional identity†as a characteristic of a person has been proved. It is proposed to consider regional identity in connection with the socio-psychological characteristics of the individual and in the context of understanding the territory as a socio-psychological space. ; Ð¡Ñ‚Ð°Ñ‚ÑŒÑ Ð¿Ð¾ÑвÑщена раÑÑмотрению вопроÑа Ð¿Ð¾Ð½Ð¸Ð¼Ð°Ð½Ð¸Ñ Ñ€ÐµÐ³Ð¸Ð¾Ð½Ð°Ð»ÑŒÐ½Ð¾Ð¹ идентичноÑти как Ñложного Ñоциально-пÑихологичеÑкого и Ñоциокультурного феномена.
