الوصف: Purpose: Students in both undergraduate and graduate program experience a great deal of stress during their academic journey. This study aimed to find the best coping strategies students use to reduce stress. Method: This quantitative study used a survey that included 87 participants. The sample ranged from ages 18-65, consisted of different ethnicities, marital status and income levels. A link to a Qualtrics survey was provide from a Facebook group. Using a 5 Point Likert Scale the survey included nine self-reported well-being statements and nine self-reported coping strategies to reduce stress. Results: Participants reported high levels of emotional well-being, 91.4% felt they had a purpose in life and 84.3% said they had good friends. Furthermore, 58.1% avoided gambling, 54.5% avoided drinking alcohol or drugs to best cope with stress. Correlations between well-being and coping strategies were examined. Discussion: Entertainment and social networks were found to be the most prominent factors in coping with stress.
