| الوصف: | This paper presents an advancement on the calibration of a model system for estimating goods attracted within urban and metropolitan areas. In particular, the models for simulating freight required by end consumers are reviewed and the main variables affecting purchasing behaviour in relation to quantity bought are investigated through data from an end-consumer survey carried out in Rome. The results show, and experimentally confirm, that quantity bought by end consumers at shops depends on their socio-economic characteristics as well as by land use of zone where shops are located. |
