الوصف: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, an Austrain composer of the 18th century, is known best for his opera compositions. While opera was a popular genre that had been developing since the 16th century, Mozart brought it to a new level, making his operas emotional, comical, and relatable. Clear examples of his compositional style can be seen in his famous, Don Giovanni: he displays opera in a comical light through the use of opera buffa, he clearly displays the emotions of the characters through dramatic musical techniques, and he displays women as powerful beings, broadening audience relatability. These characteristics of Mozart’s operas can be seen in other operas and music-dramas. The reality of this displays the significant impact he made on musical dramas and music history as a whole.
