Vivimos en una época signada por la incorporación de las Tecnologías de la Comunicación y la Información en la mayoría de los ámbitos del conocimiento y del quehacer humano. La utilización intensiva de estas tecnologías ha ido transformado gran parte de nuestras organizaciones y actividades. La Psicología tampoco escapa a esta tendencia y, aunque con rezago, ha ido agregando a sus múltiples y diversas subdisciplinas los avatares de los últimos avances en la ciencia tecnológica. Sin embargo, mientras la implantación de algunos de estos medios es aceptada de forma unánime por los profesionales y los usuarios debido a sus indiscutibles ventajas, otros se convierten en objeto de gran polémica y controversia. Sin duda, la solución pasa por desechar la aceptación indiscriminada de las nuevas tecnologías y valerse de la reflexión y la sensatez en la introducción de los cambios que suponen, fundamentalmente en base a dos conceptos básicos: la adaptabilidad y, sobre todo, la utilidad. ; We live in an epoch sealed by the incorporation of the Technologies of the Communication and the Information in the majority of the areas of the knowledge and of the human occupation. Nevertheless, while the implantation of some of these means is accepted of unanimous form by the professionals and the users due to his indisputable advantages, others turn into object of great polemic and controversy. Undoubtedly, the solution happens for rejecting the indiscriminate acceptance of the new technologies and to use of the reflection and the prudence in the introduction of the changes that they suppose, fundamentally on the basis of two basic concepts: the adaptability and, especially, the utility. |
