We study features of visual and image thinking shaping and development of preschool children with eyesight infringement. The purpose of the article is to present findings of empiric study of the development features of visual and image thinking of preschool children with eyesight infringement. Material and methods. The research material is the methods of the development of inner plan of actions by Ya.A. Ponomarev. The selection of the studied is 38 preschool children, 24 of which are with eyesight infringement. The research methodological basis is methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. Findings and their discussion. The experiment findings indicate the presence of one general tendency, for both groups with retained eyesight and children with eyesight infringement, of constant increase in individual achievements as they grow. Children with poor eyesight are not worse in shaping visual and image thinking than children with normal eyesight. The presented methods of the development of inner plan of actions by Ya.A. Ponomarev are of practical value. Their undoubted plusses are complete lack of details which are hard to make out, “cognitive simplicity” of the stimulus material, which, in its turn, is expressed in the possibility of doing the task without a visual model of the experimented situation with a certain level of shaping inner plan of actions. It provides high procedure validity of the methods Conclusion. Analysis of individual achievements of the tested children within the development of inner plan of actions indicates that shaping visual and image thinking does not depend directly on the degree of infringement factor. ; Статья посвящена изучению особенностей формирования и развития наглядно-образного мышления у старших дошкольников с нарушением зрения.
