| الوصف: | The study compares two piano concertos by Jan Novák (1921–1984). Until now, it was believed that the composer was the author of only one piano concerto, which he reworked under the supervision of Bohuslav Martinů during his New York study stay at the turn of 1947–1948. Only a comparative analysis shows that these are two completely different compositions. While Novák left the first of them as a student work, the second represents a mature artwork strongly influenced by Bohuslav Martinů. |
