| الوصف: | This textbook aims to provide the necessary basic knowledge concerning the study and design of irrigation and drainage networks. It begins by highlighting the importance of land reclamation projects and analyses the water needs of crops. The various methods of irrigation and the principles of irrigation network design are then presented. This is followed by a description of irrigation water distribution methods. Extensive reference is made to the basic hydraulic calculations required in the design of an irrigation network consisting of closed pipelines, as well as to the economic optimization of these networks. The basic principles governing the design of drainage networks and the corresponding basic hydraulic calculations are also presented. The book concludes with a presentation of the institutional framework governing the execution of studies and the operation of the competent organizations in our country. |
