| الوصف: | The article presents an experimental exercise of "photographic reading" that investigates the contexts of the image. Following the idea of the forcefulness of photography, a series of images contained in the book Oaxacagrafía. This book presents eleven photographs captured in different places in the city of Oaxaca, between 1962 and 2018, by eleven classic and contemporary photographers. The results of the exercise show that the previous knowledge of the names of the authors, their lives, or the artistic currents to which they belong, contribute more to the reading than the image itself that they observe. ; El artículo presenta un ejercicio experimental de “lectura fotográfica” que indaga sobre los contextos de la imagen. Siguiendo la idea de la contundencia de la fotografía se muestra una serie de imágenes contenidas en el libro Oaxacagrafía. Este libro presenta once fotografías capturadas en diferentes lugares de la ciudad de Oaxaca, entre 1962 y 2018, por once fotógrafos clásicos y contemporáneos. Los resultados del ejercicio muestran que el conocimiento previo de los nombres de autores, de sus vidas o de las corrientes artísticas a las que pertenecen, aporta más a la lectura realizada que la propia imagen que observan. |
