This article presents an analysis of the students' imagistic representations in an investigative experimental activity in Physics, with the aim of identifying the conceptual levels regarding Electrostatic Shielding. Conducted through a qualitative approach (BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1982), the pedagogical actions that followed throughout the research were planned in the form of an investigative experimental approach, encouraging students' curiosity and active participation in the construction of scientific knowledge. Based on Peircean semiology, Santaella's (2018) semiotic conceptual levels, including qualitative-iconic, singular-indicative, and conventional-symbolic, were used for the analysis of the produced drawings. The results indicate that the combination of drawing and investigative experimental approach was crucial for the understanding of the phenomenon of electrostatic shielding and for the students' learning of the concept. The imagistic representation proved to be an essential component to conclude the research. However, it is relevant to emphasize that verbal and written representation modes also influenced the instruction as a whole. ; Este artigo apresenta uma análise das representações imagéticas dos alunos em uma atividade experimental investigativa de Física, com o objetivo de identificar os níveis conceituais sobre Blindagem Eletrostática. Conduzido por uma abordagem qualitativa, as ações pedagógicas que se seguiram no decorrer da pesquisa foram planejadas nos moldes da abordagem experimental investigativa, estimulando a curiosidade dos alunos e a sua participação ativa na construção do conhecimento científico. Baseado na semiologia peirceana, utilizou-se os níveis conceituais semióticos de Santaella (2018) - qualitativo-icônico, singular-indicativo e convencional-simbólico - para análise dos desenhos produzidos.
