The rdquo;Psalmsrdquo; is a collection of poems-prayers which is part of the Bible:many of them are included in the Christian Liturgy of the Hours and have thereforea central role in Christian worship. The present study is not focused so much on thereligious content of the Psalms, on the peculiarities of their texts or on the differentmelodic formulae used in chanting them, but it is rather based on the considerationthat Psalms can be regarded as examples of transpersonal, intrapersonal andinterpersonal communication. They regard the personality as a whole, in its integrity. |
