Teachers also need media in the learning process so that it can help students' understanding. This media helps students understand learning material. The learning media that a teacher usually uses in the learning process are teaching aids. After carrying out observations at UPT SMPN 2 Pangkajene there was still a lack of teaching aids in learning and students had difficulty understanding the material without being given learning media. This service activity is carried out through observation and evaluation of exhibitions. The purpose of this service is to: (1) find out students' needs for teaching aids, (2) find out students' responses to teaching aids, (3) find out the suitability of the teaching aids that have been made. (4) find out the increase in cognitive abilities towards teaching aids. The results of this service were that 78% of students felt that science learning was difficult and boring, 91% stated that abstract learning was difficult in science learning and 100% of students wanted to make teaching aids. The student response was 90,02% or in the very good category. 95,24% of the teaching aids were declared very feasible by the teaching aids assessment team. And In making these teaching aids, the increase in students' cognitive understanding was at 0.30 or in the medium category. This teaching aid requires good cooperation between teachers, students and students. |
