Lo que se estudia es el conjunto de obras que forman parte y posibilitan la procesión teofórica el día del Corpus en el Monasterio de la Concepción, franciscanas de la Tercera Orden Regular, de Granada en la que confluyen obras de carácter popular —escenas sacramentales de barro— y culto —templete y custodia—, todo con un destacado valor instructivo y doctrinal, resaltando el significado del Sacramento de la Eucaristía para la vida del católico y de la orden, fijándose su cronología aproximada hacia la mitad del siglo XVIII. ; The group of works of art that form an integral part of the sacred Corpus procession in the Conception Monastery in Granada run by Franciscan nuns of the Third Regular Order is the subject of this study. We find a mixture of popular works —sacramental scenes made of clay— and more refined ones —the model temple and the monstrance— all possessing doctrinal and pedagogic value: together they emphasize the significance of the Eucharistic Sacrament for the life of the catholic and the religious order. We also establish that this dates, approximately, from the middle of the 18th century. |
