| الوصف: | Tento dokument vznikl v rámci projektu SGS-2020-026 "Ekonomická a finanční transformace v kontextu digitální společnosti". ; Agriculture is one of the basic building cornerstones of human civilisation. Like other human activities, agriculture has undergone changes over the centuries and has evolved with human knowledge. This paper addresses the issue of the latest stage of agricultural development, which is currently referred to as 'Agriculture 4.0'. This concept, like Industry 4.0, benefits from the rapid development of technology. The concept of Agriculture 4.0 faces the challenge of feeding a growing population with limited resources while adhering to the principles of sustainability (all under changing natural conditions caused by global climate change). The paper focuses on the theoretical issue of the concept of Agriculture 4.0 and also presents the actual practical applications of Agriculture 4.0 (with a focus on small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic, as the largest category of business entities in the economy). On the basis of a literature research, the definition of the concept is discussed, as well as the positive and negative effects of Agriculture 4.0 for different areas. Obstacles to its implementation on a wider scale are also discussed. |
