În sistemul de protecție socială al Republicii Moldova se află în proces continuu crearea, dezvoltarea și extinderea serviciilor sociale comunitare, alternative serviciilor sociale rezidenţiale pentru copii şi adulţi, fiind considerate mai eficiente și mai puţin costisitoare pentru sistem. Ele constituie primul punct de contact pentru beneficiarii sistemului de asistenţă socială, care sunt orientate spre prevenirea sau limitarea situaţiei de dificultate, soluţionarea problemei la etapa incipientă, cu menţinerea beneficiarului în familie şi comunitate. Extinderea serviciilor sociale la nivel comunitar reprezintă o sursă majoră pentru implementarea eficientă a politicilor sociale ale statului, în conformitate cu rigorile standardelor europene şi internaţionale. În prezentul articol se propune analiza reglementării prestării unor servicii de asistență socială comunitară: serviciul de îngrijire socială la domiciliu, serviciul de asistență socială comunitară, precum și a celor specializate: serviciul de asistenţă personală, serviciul de asistenţă parentală profesionistă, serviciul echipei mobile. ; In the welfare system of the Republic of Moldova which is in a continuous process the creation, development and expansion of community care services, alternative to the residential social services for children and adults, being considered more efficient and less costly for the system. They constitute the first point of contract for beneficiaries of social assistance which are aimed to preventing and limiting the difficult situation, solving the problem at the incipient stage with maintaining the beneficiary in the family and community. The extension of social services at community level is a major source for the implementation of social policies of the state, in accordance with the European and international standards.
