Oocyte and embryo cryopreservation, supported by vitrification technology, has proven to be ethically permissible and effective, opening opportunities for various patient groups, such as those diagnosed with cancer, women with specific medical conditions or individuals who wish to plan their reproduction in the future. future, so the objective is to describe the current techniques and medical factors of vitrification of human eggs. Using the bibliographic review methodology, an investigation is carried out based on recent years. Oocyte cryopreservation stands out as one of the most applied methods, proving to be ethically permissible and effective, according to the guidelines of the ASRM practice committee in 2018. Being fertility preservation represents a significant advance, but its evolution will require a comprehensive and collaborative approach to address current and future challenges. ; La criopreservación de ovocitos y embriones, respaldada por la tecnología de vitrificación, ha demostrado ser éticamente permisible y eficaz, abriendo oportunidades para diversos grupos de pacientes, como aquellos diagnosticados con cáncer, mujeres con condiciones médicas específicas o individuos que desean planificar su reproducción en el futuro por lo que se toma como objetivo describir las técnica y factores médicos actuales de vitrificación de óvulos humanos. Usando la metodología de revisión bibliográfica se realiza una investigación en base a los últimos años. La criopreservación de ovocitos se destaca como uno de los métodos más aplicados, demostrando ser éticamente permisible y eficaz, según las directrices del comité de práctica de la ASRM en 2018. Siendo la preservación de la fertilidad representa un avance significativo, pero su evolución requerirá un enfoque integral y colaborativo para enfrentar los desafíos actuales y futuros. |
