In this paper, we deal with the concept of referential chain in the textual progression, and we discuss the problem of the referential and attributive usages in the process of the construction of the discourse- object. Based on a theory of referentiation of social-cognitive interaction basis, we show that the constitution of the referential chain is one of the most efficient mechanisms of the language to produce effects of meaning. ; Este artigo trata da noção de cadeia referencial na progressão textual e discute a questão dos usos referenciais e atributivos no processo de construção do objeto-de-discurso. A partir do enfoque da teoria da referenciação de base sociocognitiva interativa, demonstramos que o estabelecimento de cadeias referenciais constitui um dos mecanismos mais eficazes de que a língua dispõe para produzir efeitos de sentido. |
