El continuo y vertiginoso desarrollo tecnológico al que nos vemos enfrentados en nuestros días sugiere que sean diseñadas nuevas estrategias de aproximación a los nacientes artefactos culturales que se nos presentan. Es de esta manera que funge la teoría de la intermedialidad como herramienta teórica que pretende sustentar un acercamiento legítimo a estos nuevos objetos actualizando, además, el sustrato teórico literario. A través del presente escrito examinaremos los principales rasgos inherentes a este aparataje a partir de postulados, revisiones y reflexiones de diversos investigadores, cuyos aportes han dado una mayor visibilidad a la teoría de la intermedialidad. ; The continuous and vertiginous technological development that we are faced with nowadays suggests that new approaches to the nascent cultural artifacts that are presented to us be designed. It is in this way that the theory of intermediality functions as a theoretical tool that tries to support a legitimate approach to these new objects, also updating the theoretical literary substrate.
