| الوصف: | The article examines the analysis results of operational and service activities, presents a general classification, and defines the conditions for conducting border guard operations. The specifics of combat unit engagement of border guard detachments participating in combat operations are revealed. The emphasis is placed on the staffing quality of headquarters of border guard units with personnel capable of making decisions in the conditions of a sudden change in the situation and the need to carry out varioustype s of border guard operations. Administrative activities are considered as a type of activities, where the quality of combat training of troops (forces) in peacetime depends on the effectiveness of its implementation, and the quality of training and conduct of combat operations in wartimewill a lso depend. The chosen form of work organization for high-quality staffing of the headquarters management ensures high efficiency and performance of task execution, maximum reduction of time for solving the main management tasks, increases the quality of management. The article substantiates the structural and logical diagram of managerial personnel selection technique for headquarters formation of state border protection bodies and reveals the step-by-step implementation of the main nodes of the selection process and the set of indicators for assessing the psychological and professional suitability of applicants for the replacement of managerial positions. Obtaining such data provides an opportunity, subject to the use of an adequate criterion apparatus, to determine the general relevance indicator of the applicant's decision, its evaluation, and to obtain objective data on the applicant's ability to make similar real decisions in the future.
