| الوصف: | The high population density in urban areas located within the limits of hydrographic regions and the dumping of agricultural, domestic and industrial effluents result in a major negative impact on water bodies. With the aim of preserving the biodiversity of the Cerrado in the Triângulo Mineiro region, in Minas Gerais, in 2007 the Parque Estadual do Pau Furado(PEPF) was created, located in the municipalities of Uberlândia-MG and Araguari-MG. The objective of this work was to carry out an analysis of the water quality of the streams that permeate the park, in accordance with state and federal legislation, including the analysis of phytotoxicity with lettuce seeds (Lactuca sativa) in the months of August, October, November and December 2022 and in January and February 2023, covering the dry and rainy months in the region. To carry out this study, four streams were chosen as stations for collecting water samples in the streams that permeate the park in the city of Uberlândia-MG, namely: Marimbondo stream (C1), Terra Branca stream (C2), Quexada stream (C3) and Barreirinho stream (C4). The analyzes carried out in this work were: physical-chemical, microbiological analyzes (Eschechiria coli and total coliforms) and phytotoxicity analyzes analyzing germination, root growth and wet weight. The results did not show changes above the values established by CONAMA n°357/2005 in the physical-chemical standards of the water, however, it showed very high levels of coliforms in all months and in all streams, highlighting possible contamination due to inadequate effluent disposal. , also showed a stimulus in root growth in all streams analyzed, probably resulting from surrounding agricultural activities, which demonstrates that the creation of the Conservation Unit (CU) alone is not enough and requires the implementation of effective programs and actions related to water quality, since surrounding activities drastically impact water quality within the CU. ; Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) ; A alta densidade ... |
