The objective of this document is to analyze the pending challenges in labor matters to guarantee human rights regarding non-discrimination and material equality of opportunities for working women in Colombia. For this, the concepts of sticky floors, broken stairs and glass ceilings will be taken as criticisms of the way in which these phenomena have been approached, where although progress has been made in guaranteeing human rights, discrimination and improvement scenarios still persist. With this aim, the starting point is to expose the historical context of women’s rights and labor insertion, as well as the labor gaps that persist in Colombia today, subsequently, an analysis is made of each of the challenges and the ways in which they have tried to overcome in Colombia. Finally, some protection trends are studied in countries that have best protected these rights and a reflection is made to propose options for improvement. ; En este documento se busca analizar los retos pendientes en materia laboral para la garantía de los derechos humanos en torno a la no discriminación y la igualdad material de oportunidades en las mujeres trabajadoras de Colombia. Para ello, se tomarán los conceptos de pisos pegajosos, escaleras rotas y techos de cristal, como críticas a la forma como se han abordado estos fenómenos, en donde, si bien se ha avanzado en la garantía de derechos humanos, aún persisten discriminaciones y escenarios de mejora. Con esta finalidad, se parte por exponer el contexto histórico de los derechos e inserción laboral de las mujeres, así como las brechas laborales que persisten en Colombia en la actualidad; posteriormente, se hace un análisis de cada uno de los retos y las formas en que se han intentado superar en Colombia. Finalmente, se estudian algunas las tendencias de protección en países que mejor han protegido estos derechos y se hace una reflexión tendiente a proponer opciones de mejora. |
