The article The article examines the peculiarities of state management of the use of subsoil, in particular, its essence, purpose and main tasks are defined. The legislative acts that regulate the researched issue are outlined, as well as the state management bodies in the field of subsoil use are considered. In particular, it was established that the Constitution of Ukraine, the Code of Ukraine on Subsoil, and the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of the Natural Environment" are the main legislative acts that regulate the researched issue. The dynamics of the volume of legal amber mining in Ukraine and in the Rivne region, in particular the Sarny region, and identified problems in this area are analyzed. An 8.5-fold increase in amber production compared to 2019 was established. Considered the main changes in the legislation that regulates the use of subsoil. It has been established that together with the simplification of the rules for starting and introducing the amber mining business, the transparency of this type of activity has also increased, and control and responsibility have been strengthened. It is clear that there is a need for further strengthening of control and responsibility, which should lead to a greater increase in the transparency of this activity, bringing it out of the shadows and eliminating the desire to destroy nature through barbaric land use. The areas of improvement of management in the field of super corroboration, which consist in the further development and improvement of legislation, were substantiated; effective monitoring and control; involving the public, stimulating innovation; financial transparency; international cooperation; information work, which will help to create a more effective and sustainable system of management of subsoil use. ; У статті досліджуються особливості державного управління у сфері користування надрами, зокрема визначена його сутність, мета та основні завдання.
