الوصف: | This article presents a reflection on the constructions of corporeality among children and young people in the school context and their relationship with the pedagogical processes that underlie standardized assessment tests and knowledge production. According to the curricular structure of educational institutions in Colombia, which are governed by guidelines of the Ministry of National Education, knowledge is developed in a fragmented manner across different areas and subjects. This leads to evaluative processes that are shaped according to standardized tests, which are applied without considering the particularities and needs of the institutions, their community and context. As a result, academic training is accentuated in certain areas of knowledge considered fundamental, aiming for performance that allows a high level of competition with other institutions in terms of education quality. These pedagogical processes can lead to the invisibility of the student’s corporeality by neglecting the experience, the possibility of exploration, of self-discovery, of recognizing their own body and recognizing themselves in others. This happens because the emphasis is placed on the accumulation of content geared towards the measurement of the cognitive abilities, disregarding the multidimensionality of the human being. Based on a literature review as a methodology for information gathering, focuising on the categories of analysis: corporeality and standardized testing, a debate-dialogue is established in which transdisciplinarity emerges as a third category.
