| الوصف: | This article talks about the cultural competencies that must be developed in translation and interpreting students, and among the problems that are addressed in this topic are: the inability to fulfill the role of cultural intermediary between one's own culture and that of others as well as effectively deal with cross-cultural misunderstandings and conflict situations. The objective of this research work is to know the cultural competences that students must develop in the area of translation and interpretation when translating or interpreting. The methodology used in this work was quantitative with a questionnaire applied, resulting in that the students do have these competencies that were sought, such as cultural competencies and intercultural competencies. ; El presente artículo nos habla de las competencias culturales que se deben desarrollar en los estudiantes de traducción e interpretación, y entre las problemáticas que se abordan en este tema se encuentran: la incapacidad de cumplir el papel de intermediario cultural entre la cultura propia y la ajena, así como abordar con eficacia malentendidos interculturales y situaciones conflictivas. Este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo conocer las competencias culturales que deben desarrollar los estudiantes en el área de traducción e interpretación al momento de traducir o interpretar. La metodología utilizada en este trabajo fue cuantitativa con un cuestionario aplicado dando como resultado, que los estudiantes si poseen estas competencias que se buscaban, como competencias culturales y competencias interculturales. |
