الوصف: A large number of works have been devoted to studying the adsorption of carbon dioxide on zeolites. The carbon dioxide molecule is linear and electroneutral. The positive charge is concentrated on the carbon atom and distributed to the two oxygen atoms with a negative charge. Similar to the dipole of the water molecule, this structure corresponds to the quadrilateral of the molecule. With a high amount of hydrogen sulfide, the adsorption process can be carried out in isothermal conditions. In this case, regeneration is carried out by reducing the pressure in the adsorber. Gas containing 33% H2S and 12% CO2 is processed isothermally in a small enterprise. After cleaning, the residual content of hydrogen sulfide is less than 2*10-2g/m3. Isotherms of carbon dioxide adsorption on CaA zeolite in the temperature range of 25-200°С are presented. The average value of the heat of carbon dioxide adsorption for CaA, CaX and NaX zeolites is 35.7, 32.7 and 33.2kJ/mol, respectively, and decreases with increasing degree of adsorption cavity filling.
