Further sustainable development of large cities requires the use of an integrated approach to solving the problems of housing and social policy, the rational use of limited territorial resources, engineering and transport. At the same time, in order to ensure the balance of the system of resettlement and application of labor, it is necessary to adhere to the principle of transformation of industrial territories into modern zones of business activity, technological space for introduction of the latest technologies. Purpose of the aricle. The substantiation of expediency of reconstruction of industrial enterprises with the use of such progressive organizational forms as technopolises, scientific-production complexes and cluster formations, on the example of Kyiv. Conclusion. Under the conditions of the organization of university townships with the creation of joint scientific and educational centers in the territories of scientific and production zones, the option of placing technology parks and technopolises is a suburban area. It will help to decentralize the scientific, production and educational potential of cities, increase the educational level of youth, attract new creative forces for the development of breakthrough technologies and competitive products. ; Постановка проблемы. Дальнейшее устойчивое развитие больших городов требует применения комплексного подхода к решению задач жилищной и социальной политики, рационального использования ограниченных территориальных ресурсов, инженерно-транспортного обеспечения. При этом для обеспечения сбалансированности системы расселения и приложения труда необходимо придерживаться принципа преобразования промышленных территорий в современные зоны деловой активности, технопространства для внедрения новейших технологий.
