Die AfD war bei der Bundestagswahl in Ostdeutschland etwa doppelt so erfolgreich wie in Westdeutschland. Beobachter machten dafür bisher vor allem wirtschaftliche Faktoren verantwortlich. Wir können dagegen zeigen, dass nicht das ökonomische Ungerechtigkeitsgefühl, sondern die Ablehnung von gesellschaftlicher Vielfalt und staatlichen Institutionen in Ostdeutschland mit höheren AfD-Stimmanteilen einhergeht. Will die Politik populistischen Tendenzen begegnen, muss sie in Toleranz und Vertrauen investieren. Mehr Geld in Beton und Asphalt geht am Problem vorbei. ; The AfD was approximately twice as successful as in Western Germany in the election of the Bundestag in East Germany. Observers have so far been mainly responsible for economic factors. On the other hand, we can show that it is not the feeling of economic injustice, but the rejection of social diversity and state institutions in eastern Germany that goes hand in hand with higher AfD divisions. If policy is to counter populist tendencies, it needs to invest in tolerance and trust. More money in concrete and asphalt is over from the problem. |
