| الوصف: | The banana crop has a huge social and economic impact for Brazil, where increases in economic income, motivated by better prices, and the expansion of the consumer market are strong factors for modernization and improvement of cultivation techniques. The study aimed to evaluate the effects of organic fertilizers on the development of juvenile plants of banana trees of the Cavendish Group, species Musa acuminata, variety Grand Naine. The experimental design used was randomized blocks, with 4 treatments, consisting of the fertilization of planting pit with dry bird bed, dry bird bed with shaving, liquid manure of quail and without fertilization, with 3 replications and considering 3 plants as an experimental unit. After 130 days, biometric parameters of height, neck diameter, number of shoots and leaf area were evaluated, in addition to the determination of fresh and dry shoot biomass, fresh biomass and rhizome drought, and then submitted to variance analysis and regression analysis followed by the Scott-Knott test, for separation of means. The results show that cloned seedlings of banana Musa acuminata cv. Grand Naine responded positively to organic fertilization as fertilization technology, where liquid bean manure had better performance in the development of juvenile seedlings. ; A cultura da bananeira tem enorme impacto social e econômico para o Brasil, onde os aumentos de rendimento econômico, motivado por melhores preços, e a ampliação do mercado consumidor são fortes fatores para modernização e aprimoramento das técnicas de cultivo.
