| الوصف: | The following work reevaluates José Donoso's La desesperanza (1986) in light of certain critical readings that have seen in it apparently irreconcilable processes, such as those of fiction and history, realism and phantasmagoria. Drawing on the figures of the specter and the sorcerer, and considering various theoretical approaches to each, such as those of Jacques Derrida, Giorgio Agamben, and Gilles Deleuze, this work proposes a reading of the novel that examines the narrative operations that unite both figures. I propose that in this union, which is articulated as a question about spectrality, these poles or unreconciled processes are revealed instead as inseparable realities, both from what the novel—and the author—pose as their contemporaneity and from their poetics. ; El siguiente trabajo reevalúa La desesperanza (1986) de José Donoso en atención a ciertas lecturas críticas sostenidas en procesos aparentemente irreconciliables, como son la ficción y la historia, el realismo y la fantasmagoría. A partir de las figuras del espectro y el brujo, atendiendo a diversos planteamientos teóricos de cada uno, como los de Jacques Derrida, Giorgio Agamben y Gilles Deleuze, se plantea una lectura de la novela que examina las operaciones narrativas que unen ambas figuras. En dicha unión, que se articula como una pregunta sobre la espectralidad, dichos polos o procesos sin reconciliación son revelados, en cambio, como realidades inseparables acerca de lo que la novela—y el autor—plantea tanto como su contemporaneidad como de su poética. |
