Celem niniejszego tekstu jest próba zrozumienia, głównie na podstawie myśli zawartych w encyklice Fides et ratio (Wiara i rozum) wzajemnego sto-sunku wiary i rozumu w ujęciu Jana Pawła II. Jest to najprawdopodobniej „najbardziej filozoficzna” z encyklik Papieża Polaka. Dla filozofa jest ona inte-resująca głównie z tego powodu (nie jest to jednak powód jedyny!), że próbuje łączyć dwa pojęcia, które w tradycji filozoficznej, przynajmniej nowożytnej, zwykle były ze sobą konfrontowane. Zanim jednak poczynimy pewne uwagi nad treścią wspomnianego dzieła w interesującym nas temacie dokonajmy krótkiej analizy jego kluczowych terminów: wiary i rozumu. ; The task posed by the author of the article is to analyze the problem of the relation of faith and reason in the Encyclical Fides et ratio. He analyzes the importance of the key terms, and indicates their place in the tradition of Euro-pean philosophy. It does also, on the basis of the content of the papal docu-ment, some comments on the nature of the systematic comparison of natural knowledge to Revelation and the philosophy of the natural sciences. |
